Counselor

Hello! My name is Nichole Dunn and I am your counselor at Arlon Seay Elementary. 

Prior to coming to ASES, I was a teacher at Rahe Bulverde Elementary for seven years. I am very passionate about being a school counselor and I am excited to join the Maverick family!

My role is to help support our student and campus needs. My day is busy with a variety of services, which include classroom lessons, small group lessons and individual sessions and planning. Guidance lessons are addressed by reaching 100% of the student population to teach character education, small group counseling is available on student specific topics and individual counseling sessions are based on the needs of the student. 

Social emotional learning (SEL) can be a significant part of a student’s overall education. Targeting the development of these skills can help prepare students for a productive future and mold contributing members of society.
